Basically, a webinar is just like an in-person class but online live held via the internet in real-time, you can join from anywhere in the world, your home, Office, car, vacation, from any City or State, anywhere. WHAT IS A WEBINAR?

The following equipment is necessary: computer, laptop, tablet or mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android device or Windows mobile device) with an Internet connection, webcam (for cases of video broadcasting) headset (headphones and microphone). A working microphone, such as the built-in microphone, a USB microphone or an inline microphone on a headset or headphones.
